VINEYARD

The vineyard is located on the border of the provinces of Alava and La Rioja, in the town of Elciego. The conjunction of the river and the mountain and its natural limits, play a special microclimate, the basis of the excellent quality of our grapes.

The weather is Mediterranean, Atlantic and influence with rainfall of 300 mm / year 2005.

The 15 Ha. Were planted in year 80 in the range of Tempranillo, the flagship of the grapes in Rioja and it occupies 95% of its length. The rest is completed by the variety Garnacha. The vine is not vine and is irrigated.

PREPARATION

The harvest is done manually and after elections, the grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, maintaining the character of our fruity wine. Malolactic fermentation takes place in oak barrels that allow it to acquire soft hues of wood. The wine remains in barrel a year before being filtered and bottled for coming to market.

TASTING NOTES
